Global warming

No matter how you look at it, global warming is something that should concern us all. Research tells us about its effects on earth and our ecosystem, but also reveals we can do something to stop it. In this article I'm going to tell you how global warming affects ice melting, from the scientific point of view.

The human race is slowly causing a warming of the surface temperature of our planet. This warming is effecting everything around us, including global ice melting.

When you think of global warming and rising temperature levels you may imagine the arctic or Antarctic. You're probably picturing polar bears (who wouldn't be sad when they see a poor polar bear trying to catch fish but failing). Fact is that these two regions are important in the discussion of global warming and ice melting. So then, why are we talking about global warming in relation to the south?

If you believe in global warming, then you must also be aware of global warming's impact on the ice. I personally dislike the cold weather and cannot wait for global warming to stop. That's why I want to discuss it using this post.

As global warming progresses, the amount of ice present on the Earth's surface decreases. Melting is one of the key elements in global warming and it can have adverse effects on our planet.

It's important to always be an environmental friendly person, but with global warming it's imperative. Global warming is related to the environment in that it's causing ice melts. I'll talk about how you can be a part of the movement and help.

Heat. Warming. Climate change. Global warming. Ice melting. Polar Bears and penguins are drowning; our forests are burning, and the world is dying! We have to save it, don't you agree?

We are living times that are crucial for the future of our planet: global warming is affecting the whole planet, and there's a reason why it's so important to be informed about this phenomenon.

Global warming is a controversial issue. Let's face it, there are two types of people in this world. People that believe and people that don't. The realistic side of me wants to take the entire globe and shake them until they stop their selfish ways, but the more realistic side of me realizes that the earth isn't going to hold onto everything forever (yeah I'm going all apocalyptic). That's why it's important for  those of us that recognize the fact that humans are damaging our planet with pollution, overpopulation and irresponsible living towards animals and green life need to get together, prove science, carry signs of protest and save our planet before we destroy it.

Have you ever asked yourself why global warming occurs? It's a fact that Earth is the hottest it has ever been in recorded history. According to the Environmental Protection Agency, " 97 percent of climate scientists agree Earth is warming and human activities are the cause." Climate change and global warming are two words that are used interchangeably. But what does each mean? Is there any relation between them?

In the past two years, we have seen two of the warmest months in history with October 2016 as the hottest October on record and December 2015 as the second hottest.

It's happening again. And it's not because of the sun this time either. It's happening because of the man-made pollution humans are causing in the air they breathe, which is getting thicker by the day. The result: global warming.
